Hi, I’m Natasha!
I’m the heart (and paintbrush) behind Natasha Maria Art, based in the peaceful bushland region of Cashmere, just north of Brisbane, in Queensland (Australia).

I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember. As a child, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of various exhibitions in and around Brisbane, including two exhibitions at Brisbane City Hall and the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane. These were fabulous experiences that I will treasure always, and they helped shape my lifelong love of creativity.

After years of teaching primary school and home schooling, I know how magical it can be to watch someone discover their creative side. Now, I get to do just that — running art classes and workshops in the Moreton Bay region, just north of Brisbane, helping people of all ages find their inner artist, have fun, and feel proud of what they create.

I paint in acrylics and oils, often inspired by nature — think close-up florals, sweeping landscapes, and all the colours in between. The incredible colours, textures, and beauty of nature inspire me daily. Whether I’m painting on a small canvas or a large-scale piece, I love getting lost in the details and capturing the essence of my subject. For me, creating art is relaxing, joyful, and full of little moments of discovery. My original paintings are for sale, and it is my hope that they will bring a touch of nature’s beauty into homes and spaces across Queensland and beyond.

At Natasha Maria Art, my goal is simple: to provide a calm, welcoming space where everyone can explore their creativity, gain confidence, and enjoy the pure joy of making something beautiful. No matter your age or skill level, there’s always a place for you to create, learn, and celebrate art.
