After School Art Classes for Children & Teens
Do you have a child who loves to draw, paint, or just create? My after school art classes in Cashmere are a calm and welcoming space for young artists to explore their creativity, gain new skills, and enjoy the mindfulness of making art.
These classes are perfect for children and teens who want to grow in confidence, develop their artistic abilities, and have fun while doing something screen-free and enriching. No experience is needed — just curiosity and imagination.
Each class runs for one hour and is held in my peaceful home studio in Cashmere, just north of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay region.
All art materials are supplied, so parents don’t need to buy extra supplies — just drop off your child and let them enjoy creating (no setup or clean-up needed!).
Term 4, 2025 Class Times
Tweens and Teens
• Mondays: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
• Tuesdays: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Primary Schoolers
• Wednesdays: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
• Thursdays: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Class Costs: $30 per lesson if paying weekly, or $27 per lesson when paying for the full term (or remainder of term).
What Students Will Learn
Each age group creates different artworks suited to their interests and abilities, with every student having the chance to:
Learn about the elements and principles of art
Explore a variety of art mediums and techniques
Discover famous artists, both past and present
Experiment with different art styles
Develop skills and confidence through hands-on creating
Above all, students enjoy art in a supportive, encouraging environment where every artwork — and every artist — is celebrated.
