Relaxed Adult Art Classes
Thursday 29 May
Creating depth with colour pencils
Thursday 5 June
Creating depth with acrylic paints
Art has so many benefits for people of all ages, and it is especially wonderful for our mental and emotional well-being. Engaging in creative activities, regardless of our skill levels, allows us to relax and take some, often much needed, timeout for ourselves.
You do not need to create a ‘wall-worthy masterpiece’ each time to reap the benefits of some creative time. Have you ever seen anyone frame the crossword puzzle that they have just completed? I haven’t, but I know they enjoyed the activity and gained well-being benefits. We don’t need to create amazing art every time. We can engage in art to just purely have fun and to maintain a good balance in our lives.
Come along to one of my classes and spend some time with friendly others - I’ve never come across anyone who has signed up for an art class that is a miserable person that no one wants to be around. So, be brave, and come along and join me.
Stay up-to-date with the happenings at Classes and Workshops on my Facebook and Instagram (see links below).
