January School Holidays Art Workshops
This January I will be running a number of creative and fun workshops, over 3 weeks, for prep, primary and high school aged students.

For all workshops:
Time: 9:30am - 11:00am (90 minutes)
Cost: $35 per child (this includes all materials)
Venue: My home studio in Cashmere.
Artworks will be either A4 or A3 in size. See the description for each workshop below to find the finished sizes. Finished artworks will fit into standard A4 or A3 frames should you wish to frame your child's work.
Please note: Workshop numbers are limited. A pre-paid booking will secure your place in a workshop.
“Cheeky Monkey” Workshop

Using both drawing and paper collage techniques, create your own cheeky monkey based on the playful spider monkey pets of famous artist, Frida Kahlo. Choose your monkey’s colour and facial expressions to make your monkey unique to you.

“Nighttime Raccoon” Workshop
“Impressionist Waterscape” Workshop

In this workshop we will be using acrylic paints to create a waterscape painting inspired by the works of the famous French impressionist painter, Claude Monet.
This workshop will be better suited to older primary school and high school aged children.

“Still Life Flowers” Workshop
“Watercolour Dugong” Workshop

Using guided drawing, wet-on-wet watercolour and wax resist (with oil pastels) techniques, we will be creating a fun and colourful dugong artwork.
The workshop is great for younger children, though older children can attend and create a more detailed finished piece.

In this workshop we will be using a variety of techniques - guided drawing, creating painted papers and collage - to create this fun raccoon artwork.

Using guided drawing and acrylic paints young artists will be creating a beautiful still life painting inspired by French artist, Edouard Manet. Young artist will choose their flowers, vase shape and background designs to make their artworks unique to them.

“Happy Sloth” Workshop
“Bottom of the Ocean” Workshop

Using guided drawing, wet-on-wet watercolour and wax resist (with oil pastels) techniques, we will be creating a fun and colourful ocean floor artwork, selecting from several different ocean animals.
The workshop is great for younger children, though older children can attend and create a more detailed finished piece.

“Friendly Seal” Workshop

Using guided drawing, acrylic paints and oil pastels, young artists will be creating a cute friendly seal artwork.

In this workshop young artists will using some fun painting techniques, including printmaking. We will also be drawing and using collage to create this fun artwork.

“Watercolour Tree” Workshop

We will be playing with bright and colourful liquid watercolours and using a wet-on-wet technique in this workshop to create these beautiful artworks.
